We have been working this week on classroom expectations, group discussions and Branch Line rules. Your students are great ambassadors of our school!
In ELA we tackled a 2nd and 3rd pack of vocabulary and read more of Pax by Sara Pennypacker.
In Science, we started the week off with a "solutions briefing" of our design models. We will use our new collaboration techniques in our challenge next week.
Pre-Covid, it was established that the 7th & 8th graders would take an end-of-the-year trip to Mackinac. This year we are excited to reinstate the experience. We began brainstorming with the students this week about how to make this a reality. They will need to present their ideas to obtain official permission from the BLS Board of Directors. We will have solid details at the end of September AFTER our student representatives have received permission from the Board. Costs, dates and details will be available then.
