Hello Innovator Families,
In ELA we are concluding The House on Mango Street. We will read the last vignettes next week and discuss the figurative language throughout the book. We also took advantage of the weather to enjoy the text:
In Science we presented facts about synthetic materials that we investigated. The Innovators are polishing their whole group presentation skills. We also began a new unit about Waves. Later in the unit, we will cross over into Ms Cassie's class to learn about sound waves.

Field Trip News:
Here is a link to make online payments: 2023 Mackinac Island Field Trip. The next $50 installment is due December 1. Cash is accepted.
Chocolate is still available to sell to help your student defray their costs. Those that have taken boxes to sell, please return ASAP.
