We finished all of the Gerald and Piggie books! It took a lot of effort, but we did it. We started talking about the pigeon and all of the sneaky trouble he gets into. This group of kids is pretty determined to read as much as they can by Mo Willems, so we'll see what we can get done. They really like his work.
The giving tree ornaments have almost all been claimed, so we're slowly getting items trickling in. Every time I get a new item for our family in need, I talk about it with the class and everyone gets very excited. We've collected comforters, lotion, pajamas, boots, and coats. If you have any items for the giving tree, please have it here by the 20th. Thank you!
