This week in ELA we started a new spelling list, but updates and errros on the Vocabulary A-Z website caused us to have to pause this list. We will resume this list next week when the errors have been fixed. We started our "Great Mail Race" letters and surveys this week also! Each student has picked a state and a school in that state to write a letter to. We will be putting a USA map up to keep track of what states we hear back from. The students have been very excited to learn about how others schools run in different states. Next week we will be starting another reading check-in to keep track of each students progress. Some reading groups may be rearraged as needed. We will be also starting our next science unit on weathering and errosion. -Ms. Jamie
