What a great week back to school! The students spent this week learning classroom routines and getting to know each other! 

Next week we will start our beginning of the year reading checks and start to learn our Daily Five routine. It usually takes about a week to get all students placed in their perfect reading level and small reading group. 

We will also start our first unit in science where we learn what science really means and what a scientist does.
