Hello All,
This week in Math we worked on creating lists of ways we use math and/or numbers in the real world. We also worked on some group work involving the lists that were made. We completed a few math worksheets and we started our beginning of the year Go Math assessments.
In Social Studies we began discussing things we know about topics in social studies. We also began our first unit called The Foundations of Social Studies where we identified questions that historians ask in examining the past in Michigan. Such as What happened? When did it happen? Who was involved? How and why did it happen?
We will begin the math portion of the NWEA testing next week.
