This week: We took our GO MATH! pre-assessment, learned classroom procedures for math and Science, learned about the Engineering Design Process, and used it to plan with a team to build a bridge that can hold the most amount of pennies.
Next week: We will take math NWEA on Monday and Tuesday, learn about place value, divide multi-digits, and implement the engineering Design Process into more experiments while discussing, "What is Science?"
Ms. Sarah's ELA and Social Studies Class-
This week: We reviewed the northeastern states, and special landmarks and resources located in the same area for social studies. For ELA we have been working on our O.R.E.O. writing assignment, and we have begun working on our first week vocabulary. We have also been working on our LLI, pre-assessment.
Next week: We will move on to the southeastern states for social studies. For ELA, we will continue to work on O.R.E.O. writing assignment, and we will begin working on our NWEA testing.
