Our second week of school has quickly flown by! We have enjoyed learning more about each other as students share their “Me in a Bag.”
Recycle and Upcycle
Help us help the environment by donating any of these items if you are looking to get rid of them. We will use them to make and build a variety of projects.

We talked this week about being kind and “filling each other’s buckets” with compliments, friendly words and helpful gestures. Suggestions included giving hugs, listening to someone when they are talking, helping people and even making them something out of gold.
A few reminders:
Snacks should be a raw, fresh fruit or vegetable that students can eat without utensils or a dip. They should also bring a labeled water bottle each day. No, sugary drinks please.
Please return any paperwork that has been sent home! We can’t wait to learn more about your family and your child.
Please make sure to send in personal headphones for your student. One of our Daily Five centers will require headphone use each week.

Peek Inside our classroom
We love to share photos of the happenings in our classroom. We aren’t able to show all students every week but we try to include everyone over the course of a few weeks. Use these pictures to inspire conversation with your students - let them tell you about all of the great things we are learning!
