Ms. Jenn's Math and Science Class -
This week: We took our math NWEA test on Tuesday, had our first GO MATH! lesson and learned about the relationship between two place-value positions and dividing multi-digit numbers. We also compared/contrasted the Engineering design process and the Scientific Method while students worked in teams to build the tallest marsh mellow and toothpick tower!
Next week: We will continue to explore the Engineering Design Process and do other STEM challenges. In math we will be learning to read, write, and represent whole numbers through hundred millions, and find the prime factorization of a number.

Ms. Sarah's ELA and Social Studies Class-
This week: We have worked hard with our NWEA assessment and our Common Lit assessment in ELA. For social studies, we have been focusing on the Northeastern and Southeastern states.
Next week: We will start working within our ELA reading groups, and we will begin our second vocab list. We will also begin studying states out west, and begin our states projects.
