Hello All,
This week in Math we worked on completing a few math worksheets, worked with a Place Value Chart and played math games together at my table in their small groups. Students continued working on their first Mental Math booklet called “Back to School” that they will work on during Math Rotations. We were able to make it to all four of our Math Rotations this week. Students are continuing to work on their IXL Diagnostics and working on the recommendations that are in our Technology Math Rotation.
The standards that were used were: 3.OA.D.9, 4.OA.A.3, 4.OA.C.5, 4.NBT.B.4
In Social Studies we have been working on being able to Identify questions that historians ask in examining the past in Michigan. Such as What happened? When did it happen? Who was involved? How and why did it happen? We also celebrated Constitution Day by going over the Constitution, reciting it, describing its importance when it was written and why it is still important today and also by working on a true/false worksheet about the Constitution.
The standards that were used were: 4.G1.0.1, 4.E1.0.1
