Happy Halloween Week BLS Fam!!
We had some fun on our rainy Monday playing a Ghostbusters game where we found ghosts hidden under cups. There was also a eyeball hidden! The first team to find the eyeball or the most number of ghosts at the end of the game won. K-2 were great about taking turns and letting each person on their team take turns. 3-8 got to play with the scooters and 7-8 had to lift the cups with the skeleton hands and use scooters 😂
We continued our Throwing and Catching unit this week! Wednesday, 3-8 played a game called Hula Hut Throwdown which worked on our underhand throwing.
K-2 worked on underhand throwing with beanbags into the air and clapping once. Some even clapped 2 or 3 times! We then worked on throwing our bean bags into hula huts for points.
Friday we played a game of Fire and Ice tag which incorporated 3 taggers and a throwing element to work on throwing and catching to "unthaw" those that are frozen.
