Ms. Jenn's Math and Science Class -
This week: We learned to analyze and interpret data for patterns in the fossil records for science. In math we compared and ordered fractions and decimals and grouped, solved, and checked division problems.
Next week: We will keep exploring the fossil record to learn about relative and absolute dating and studying characteristics of organisms. In math we will continue division and start adding and subtracting fractions finding common denominators.
Ms. Sarah's ELA and Social Studies Class-
This week: Our students had an amazing time at the hockey game. Thank you for coming to the event! We are finishing up our units over the next week. Our ELA projects will be done this Friday, and presentations will take place on Friday and Monday of next week!
Next week: Next week we will have a lot going on. We will up our Social Studies projects. We will also be having our holiday parties. The AM class will celebrate during their scheduled class time, and the PM class will celebrate during their scheduled class time. There are still items needed for the holiday party. Your child has officially drew a name for their Secret Santa gift. Please make sure to have those gifts here no later then Tuesday of next week. The recipes for the two dozen cookies that you will bring in, please make sure to have the paper recipe returned to me by Monday of next week. I need time to put the books together.
