Monday's and Wednesday's!
We continued our Jump Rope Unit this week and everyone continues to amaze me with how well they are doing! We worked on some really hard things this week and they all took on the challenge!!
On Monday, we played some more long rope games in 3-8 like "Whirlwind" where they had to continuously run through the rope without the rope passing them more than once. They all did so well with timing! Grades K-2 had station work - we had hula hoops, "run through the river", connect the dots and jumprope!!
We had a few blow through the 4 minute club and to the 5 minute club!!!
Wednesday we had our afternoon reading activities so our PE time was cut a bit short. We will finish on Monday since everyone wants more jump rope time! 3-8 worked on double dutch ropes! It was very difficult but they all took on the challenge and at least tried it!! Everyone did their best! K-2 played a game called "Snake in the grass" and they had to jump over the jump rope while it looked like a snake!!
