Navigator's 5th and 6th grade!!!

Ms. Jenn's Math and Science Class -
This week: This week for math students learned about regular/not regular polygons, congruent shapes and angles, and started working on making a logo using images that reflect, rotate, and slide. In science navigators learned more about evolution, the 6th graders dissected an owl pellet, and the 5th graders chose a body system to begin researching and organizing for a project to teach the class about the systems functions and importance. We will continue these next week!
Ms. Sarah's ELA and Social Studies Class-
This week: This week the students presented their informative projects. They also began their poetry unit. They have also been exploring their artistic sides through their social studies projects.
- Please make sure you student clears out their old work when they return their folders on Friday.
- Thank you to all of you who donated toward the Welcome Inn.
- We are preparing for our classroom basket for the Spring Fling. Please have your student donate $10 dollars towards the supplies that will fill it. We are looking to do a Cozy Basket.

Next week:
We will present our social studies projects to the 7th and 8th grade classes. If your student took the project home to finish, please make sure it is returned by Monday.
