This week in Ms. Rachel took over for Ms. Chantel until the end of the year. This week we learned about Limerick poetry and how to create a funny poem that follows the rhyming pattern of a Limerick. We started our final spelling list of the school year. We will finish up this list next week. We are also wrapping up our levels in reading groups and doing some final reading checks to see how much we have grown this school year. This week in Science we continued on in our physical science unit and started talking about energy. We learned about how we make and use energy for electricity and how some energy is renewable and some in nonrenewable. We will be looking at small town who has a problem with having enough electricty to supply to the surrounding houses. We will problem solve after learning about the area to help solve this issue in the best way.
