We're headed to the end of the school year! This week I asked the children what their favorite things we did this year was. We made a list. Some popular ideas were costumes, dance parties, shaving cream, and another fort day. Whatever I plan with the group, I'll make sure to have everything prepared here. Other than fort day when children are welcome to bring in extra blanket. I'll keep you posted!
Unfortunately because of the high temperature on Friday, our Rotary Park mini-field trip was postponed. We should be able to go on Monday. There's nothing you need to do different that day. Just prepare your child as normal and we'll head over there after lunch.
Field Day volunteers! Our last day of school is going to be so much fun. We're looking for volunteers for that to happen. If for some reason there aren't any spots open, let me know and I'll talk to someone about it. Sign up here! https://www.signupgenius.com/
Move-up Day is happening on the last Wednesday of school. That is a day when each grade gets to move up for 2 hours. Our class gets to experience life as an Explorer. They will spend equal time with Ms. Debbie and Ms. Brenda. With the help of the current first graders, they will navigate the classroom to see what it's like!
Friendly reminder that Show and Tell is Tuesdays and Thursdays until the 13th! 3 more times!
Things to talk about from the week:
- Mushu visiting on Tuesday
- Drawing with the whole class
- The class store
