This week in kindergarten we have been talking about goods and services. One of the ways we explain the difference is goods are something you can buy, like a toy. Services are something a person can do for you, a mechanic can fix her car, a baker will make treats.
We have been having lots of fun practicing speaking in front of the class with show and tell. Remember, it's every Tuesday and Thursday!
Another fun thing from the week was our classroom store on Friday. During the week the children earn money by completing their work. On Friday they get a chance to spend their money in the "store." We talk about spending, saving, and do some math as they make their choices. Anything they buy they can take home to keep! We'll keep this going until the last week of school.
