Ms. Jenn's Math and Science Class -
This week: This week for math students learned to model and use ratios, and use line graphs to display and analyze real-world data. In science we finished up learning about the fossil record. Fifth graders are working on presenting information about body systems and sixth graders are learning about heredity/DNA and are using Punnett Squares to make an alien baby!
Next Week:
Ms. Sarah's ELA and Social Studies Class-
This week: This week the students have been working on their poetry unit. For social studies, the 6th graders have still been learning about economics. Our 5th graders are grouped up to work on their Colony Brochures. We also saw an opossum, an owl, and a snake from the Howell Nature Center. They do have summer camps if you are interested. The Spirit of Alexandra, who also helped us with the in house field trip, they often have scholarships to support these camps. Here is their website:

- Please make sure you student clears out their old work when they return their folders on Friday.
