Physical Education 5/12/2023

Monday's and Wednesday's

This week, we started our soccer unit! Students from grades K-8 are excited to learn more about the game. From learning basic skills to playing in matches, this unit promises to be a fun and exciting experience for all.

For the younger students in grades K-3, the focus will be on learning basic skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. They will also learn the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. We will be doing fun games and drills to help the students develop these skills while keeping them engaged and motivated.

For students in grades 4-8, the focus will be on developing more advanced skills such as ball control, tackling, and positioning. They will also learn about different strategies used in the game and the importance of communication and teamwork. In addition to playing games, students will participate in drills and exercises designed to improve their fitness and stamina.

Soccer is not just about physical activity; it also provides an opportunity for students to develop important life skills such as communication, teamwork, and sportsmanship. These skills will be reinforced throughout the unit, and students will be encouraged to apply them both on and off the field.

Here are some pictures of the games we played this week!
