Hello Innovator Families,
What a great 2nd week! Your students were the first to start NWEA testing and they did so with a great attitude! We began the week with goal setting, so they could frame how they approach the test and what it means to them.
In ELA we read and analyzed "The Colomber" by Dino Buzzati. By Tuesday, I had to allow more time for spirited academic debate regarding the theme of the story. Be still my heart! What a great way to begin our year!
We had a good couple of weeks with Innovators. I am enjoying learning about each one in my Classroom.
Math - we learned about how to convert fractions into decimals. went over orders of operation, we will dive deeper in to it next couple of weeks.
Science- we are writing and interviewing each other looking in to our Career goals
