BLS Express: Innovators 9/22/2023

Happy Friday - Innovators and families:

Math: We are mathing! Lot of algebra and equations

learning about placeholders x and y

Science Learning about Periodic table presentation and elements name, symbol and atomic number .

Innovators did a presentation on each element and it was fantastic.

In ELA, we used our time to have 1:1 conferences about our ELA goals and new reading group plans.

In Social Studies, we completed our first round of presentations about a topic. The Innovators expanded their skills by creating websites, newspaper headlines and online flashcards to change up the usual slide presentations.

I saw this in the news and thought it is a great opportunity for your students to experience ideas that go beyond the usual college and discussions: "Touch a Job" Saturday, Sept 30 specifically for middle and high school:
