Hello Innovator Families,
In ELA, we dipped our toe into our ELA curriculum of CommonLit. It is a rigorous, yet dynamic platform we will use, with our other projects, for reading and writing.
In Social Studies, we began collecting research for grade specific topics. We will begin a new project next week.
We have many handouts coming home in these beginning weeks. Thank you for staying on top of it all!

Hello Parents
This is Ms.Monica,
I am going to be teaching Math and science to our 7/8 th graders.
I am enjoying working with them.
We have Ms.Kara in the classroom working with the Innovators, when they need extra help.
We did a Project about Periodic table and everybody did a presentation of their own Element.
We have a periodic table in our classroom.
It was fun to hear about each element around us, few picked some of the rare elements.
Math - we did the NWEA testing, yay! It's all done.
We will be Mathing this school year.
