Ms. Jenn's Math and Science Class -
This week: We learned two ways to find the least common multiple and how to write a number in standard form, expanded form, and word form in math! In Science we looked at a plant cell under a microscope while comparing and contrasted a plant cell and an animal cell. We also explored different types of friction that slows an object down.
Next week: We will learn about finding the greatest common factor using a list, how to draw a diagram to solve problems involving the GCF, and how to use the distributive property to solve math problems. 5th grade students will be working on Newton's Laws of Motion presentation and 6th grade will be working on Cell City projects!
Ms. Sarah's ELA and Social Studies Class-
This week: This week we have been working really hard on our My State Project. Next week we will begin presenting them to out class.
Next week: Once we finish our presentations, we will begin our new section of those who first explored America.
