Parent-teacher conferences will be on Wednesday 11/16, Friday 11/18, or by email for the Investigator cohort this year. The reason for this is we have many families to meet with this year and Ms Jamie has to drive to Lake St. Clair on 11/18 to pick up the salmon during the day. This limits our time a bit, so if anyone would like to sign up for an email only conference this year, please email Ms. Jamie (jamier@branchlineschool.org) or Ms. Chantel (chantelp@branchlineschool.org) to sign up for an email only conference. Here is the link to sign up for an in person or zoom conference with the teachers.

This week in ELA we continuned work on our retelling and summary unit. We took the main ideas from a fiction story and turned them in to a comic strip. We finished up our spelling unit and will get new lists on Monday.
This week in science we worked on making some brochures that can teach people about why bats are important. We will continue to work on these next week and make our final copies. Our bat houses arrived today! Please look for an email on Monday or Tuesday to sign up to help assemble the houses.
-Ms. Jamie
