Ms. Jenn's Math and Science Class -
This week: 6th grade worked on making their cell city projects: Making a city out of the functions of a cell. 5th graders made a presentation in groups about Newton's 3 laws of motion. For math students worked on finding the area of a 4 sided shape, a triangle, and a trapezoid, order of operations, applying the GCF, and using basic fact patterns to multiply a 2-digit number.
Next week: Students will finish their cell city projects and have a gallery walk, present slide shows on the 3 laws of motion, multiply by 1-digit, and multiply by Multi-Digit numbers.
Ms. Sarah's ELA and Social Studies Class-
This week: This week we have been presenting our My State Projects.
Next week: We will be exploring with those who were native to the US, and we will be exploring our Common Lit section with the "The Medicine Bag".
Special note: We will be having our Halloween classroom party on October 31st. Next week we will attach a link for requests for the party. Please keep a look out for it.
