Navigators 3/31/2023

    Navigator's 5th and 6th grade!!!  

Important Dates:

April 1-Money for camp is due!!!

April 7- No School

April 10- No School

April 24-28- Spring Break/ No School


Ms. Jenn's Math and Science Class -

This week:   For math we practiced finding the distance in units between two plotted points on a coordinate plane.  We also practiced finding patterns with decimal numbers using words such as increasing and decreasing by a certain number.  In science navigators learned about what a living fossil is and how fossils provide evidence for change.  Students also learned about animal adaptations and and adapting in order to survive new conditions.

Ms. Sarah's ELA and Social Studies Class-

This week:  This week the students presented their informative projects. They also began their poetry unit. They have also been exploring their artistic sides through their social studies projects. 
  • Please make sure you student clears out their old work when they return their folders on Friday. 
  • Thank you to all of you who donated toward the Welcome Inn. 
  • We are preparing for our classroom basket for the Spring Fling. Please have your student donate $10 dollars towards the supplies that will fill it. We are looking to do a Cozy Basket.

Next week:  
We will present our social studies projects to the 7th and 8th grade classes. If your student took the project home to finish, please make sure it is returned by Monday.
