Ms. Jenn's Math and Science Class -
This week: This week for math students learned to model and use ratios, and use line graphs to display and analyze real-world data. In science we finished up learning about the fossil record. Fifth graders are working on presenting information about body systems and sixth graders are learning about heredity/DNA and are using Punnett Squares to make an alien baby!
Ms. Sarah's ELA and Social Studies Class-
This week: This week the students have been working on their poetry unit. We have also been working hard on our M-Step testing. For social studies, the 6th graders have been learning about economics. Our 5th graders are going over what it was like to live in Jamestown and Roanoke.
- Please make sure you student clears out their old work when they return their folders on Friday.
- We are preparing for our classroom basket for the Spring Fling. Basket items for the auction are due Friday, May 5th. Here is the link if you are able to help:
